Whether it is out of a desire to pursue floristry as a profession or a form of personal development. George and the team at Sincerely Yours Florist have a program to suit your needs.

We are firm believers in openness, we believe that what you see is what you get that’s why we would like to invite every perspective student to spend a day with us in the workshop to experience what floristry is all about. This invitation comes with no obligation and no cost, it’s a chance for us to get to know each other and an opportunity for you to decide weather floral design is for you.

All of our courses are individually focused and hands on. You will have the undivided attention of the person mentoring you. You will be encouraged to get involved in the learning process with an emphasis on hands on learning rather then piles of theoretical jargon. We have thrived in the floral industry for 15 years and we will give you an insight into the practical things that make an exceptional florist.

During our courses we will not only supply you with our knowledge and experience but all the tools, flowers and materials which you will need to learn the craft of floral design.

The Sincerely Yours School of floristry is a registered fully insured business. We pride ourselves on our professional, yet relaxed and social approach to learning. We believe above all that floral design should inspire and fulfill the practitioner. We know first hand how enjoyable floristry can be and we would love to share it with you.

BASIC COURSE $500
The basic course will run 2 days a week for a month. From 10:00am to 3:00pm

Course Covers:
• Flower types.
• Designing and creating floral bunches
• Designing and creating floral baskets
• Upright floral arrangements
• Ribbons, bows – finishing touches for your floral bunches and arrangements.

WEDDING BOUQUETS $1000

Course Covers:
• Designing and creating the brides bouquets
• Designing and creating bridesmaids bouquets
• Designing and creating button holes and corsages

CHURCH FLOWERS $500

Course Covers:
• Designing and creating upright arrangements.
• Decorations for church pews.

RECEPTION FLOWERS $500

Course Covers:
• Designing and creating arrangements of reception tables.
• Designing and creating candle stand arrangements,
• Designing and creating spectacular bridal table displays.
• Working with balloon arrangements.

SETTING UP YOUR OWN BUSINESS $1000

Course Covers;
• All the information that you need to start up your own business this includes all suppliers and contacts, negotiation skills and business practices.

CUSTOMER SERVICE $1000

Course Covers:
• Prepare yourself for all types of questions that may be asked of you by the customer.
• Professional, pleasant phone manner.
• Dealing with difficult customers.
• Up-selling and cross selling.
• Tips for leaving a lasting impression on your clientele.
